Richmond Bridge Boat Hire

Traditional Thames Rowing Skiffs for Hire

Enjoy a unique family day out on the river, messing about in boats with friends, or see the romantic side of the sunlit Thames...

Hourly Hire

The idyllic peace of the River Thames is closer than you think! Rowing skiffs for hourly hire to carry 1, 2, 4, 6 or 8 persons are available throughout the season (March-October) on a first-come, first-served basis.

Boats may also be reserved on request, including larger vessels to hold up to 12 persons. All boats are supplied with lifejackets if requested (compulsory for children).

Times, Tides and Seasons

Your safety is our No.1 priority. Boat hire is operated from Richmond Bridge from March - October (inclusive), subject to weather conditions and the Boatmaster's discretion.

The times of slack, ebb, and flood tides are also significant. These change daily, though most days there will be at least a 5-hour window of navigable tide.

To check, feel free to call ahead on 020 8948 8270

Tide tables are also published by the Port of London Authority (PLA) for: Apr-June July-Sept Oct-Dec
